"The comments in CPane.c mention the GetEnabled/SetEnabled methods, but all there is is an enabled member. Did these methods just not get implemented?" I believe the comments are wrong. The "enabled" feature was inserted at the appropriate level in the TCL, but disabling was left as a subclass responsibility. Bob

In hindsight, though, I liked the other response you got to your question. Modifying tcl_PlotCIconHandle to write a zero to the stack before calling PlotCIconHandle preserves error returns while working around the bug. Bob
