I've heard that future E.T.O discs will include Symantec Think C 6.0 instead of the MPW system. I've embarked on a Mac development project, but it stalled when I couldn't find an automatic way to build a series of applications. On Unix and DOS environments, I can write a script and 'makefile's that perform a long sequence of compiles, library links, and then application links. I'm still running Think 5.0. I talked with Symantec tech support about 6.0, and they said they hadn't added anything like this. They recommended MPW instead. But now if it's a lame duck… Is there another solution to my problem? Over in 'go macdev', they said I answered my own question – Think 6.0 can be controlled by AppleScript or Frontier. But will it really give me the same kind of automatic results I get from 'make' on other machines?
