I've been using PgS2.1 with the Xpress without "running" virtual page. You do have to have the virtualpage.library in the libs: directory, however. When you refer to the system freezing, are you referring to attempting to print from PgS2.1 to the Xpress (as opposed to printing to a virtual page but not printing the virtual page)? i.e. are you referring to getting the "task held" requester? If so, and you have the VirtualPage.library in your libs: directory, I think I have the fix for you. The PgS2.1 LazerXpress driver that shipped with the disks has a bug.
