He's talking more about setting up a government subsidized net to transmit this
data – and to compete with private businesses.
Free enterprise can do it a lot cheaper – and CIS won't have to subsidize it's
competition to the detriment of services here. For an example of what may
happen as a result of something like this … read the history of what happened
to radio and TV when the FCC got into things. And you wonder why TV is so
