1. it works with 1.2.
2. it works with external ram hooked up. Under 1.1 it simply doesn't break
down, and under 1.2 it uses proper autoconfig ram to allow up to 640k in
pcdos.
3. If you have a comm program that doesn't need certain waits built in, you
can set at-pref to eliminate waits built in – comm will now go somewhat
faster.
4. The at-pref menu has the bullshit (based on the original specs that cbm
abandoned) removed.
5. More reliable. By the way, speedy?.com shouldn't do any good under
recent versions of pcdos – it only helps the antiquated version of dos.
