By the way, I got a demo of the Grand Prix game about two weeks ago. It's still in a very early stage of development but what they have so far is GOOD. As a point of interest, to my knowledge it is the first Amiga game (at least from a major publisher) that is written entirely in 68000 assembly language. It allows them to do some QUICK graphics manipulations. For instance, the screen is a point of view display showing the cockpit of your racer, the instrument panel and, of course, the racetrack flying be in front of you. And, a neat little touch, the rearview mirrors are operative, so you can see cars sneaking up on you or receding in the distance. BUT LET ME STRESS!!! that what I saw was pre-alpha so the above description may or may not be accurate when the product comes to market in 1987. (I don't want to hang any undue burden on the great guys at EA. But I do want to let everyone know how serious they are about the Amiga and what a fine job they're doing supporting it and us. OK, that may sound a little Rah Rah, but it's sincere. I like those guys.). Bob L.
