Ted, I think you're being a _little_ harsh with Perry. First of all I agree that it very well may inhibit the sales of his new game when people find out about the registration. However, Perry (ASDG) is trying to find a reasonable, workable way that profits both the Amiga community and ASDG and other developers as well. We all know that the time and money that goes into writing copy protection for any product is basically an effort in futility as the stuff is broken 5 minutes after it's out the door and sometimes before. Perry left his message to get a feel of what 10,000 Amiga Forum members think about this _possible_ form of trying to protect the game from rampant piracy. If he didn't give a damn he would just protect it in whatever way he chose and the heck with everyone. Maybe Perry's biggest fault is that he cares to much about the people who buy his commercial products as well as things like the RRD. Maybe he should just be like so many other companies and just not care at all. Marlene
