Marlene, we have numerous Informers at work but I have no idea how much it
costs. It weighs much less than a Compac – it comes with a carry case and
strap. Our programmers take them home on the trains without much trouble. The
Informer is about the size of the Amiga Monitor – so its not too large.
The models we use have the 2400 baud modem built-in. We had one with a 4800
baud modem, but I guess my employer wasn't willing to pay for twice the speed.
We use ours on a 100% SNA network.
