On number 2, the reason is that the Amiga RGB video out, and any genlock
video out are going to be out of (horizontal) phase.
Check your preferences. You'll prolly find that the display is shifted
far to the right. Center the prefs, and the video output will be centered
(close enough). Then, adjust the centering on your RGB monitor, and voila!
If you have an Amiga RGB monitor, it may not be able to center the RGB
image. I suspect that's why Commodore ships workbench with the prefs far
to the right.
I will have a utility called Video Tools on Tap that will center the
display for you, among a bunch of other things. I will announce here when
