#Amiga laptop
Wayne:
Is CBM really performing badly? If so; why have they been around so long
and why is their stock price going up? Maybe, just maybe their board is
satisfied with the way things are going. Maybe they see no reason to spend
a lot of R&D and marketing money on unknowns when the knowns are putting
beans on the table. Shortsighted, I agree, but who knows what their
motives are. I love my Amiga just like of rest of the people here but its
hard to ignore the competition. Norton Desktop for Windows is pretty nice
BTW. It's not up to Amiga 2.0 yet however. I use a PC at work everyday,
and it's not the monster everyone thinks it is.
I do wish that CBM would get serious with the Amiga though. I thought that
when they released the A3000 and then 2.0 that we were on our way. As you
know, a company can't afford to sit back and rest on their laurels in the
computer business. It moves way too fast.
