I doubt you'll really be able to find better price/performance than you
do in HP's own equipment. You can get an HPIII for around 1600 if you go
to a good HP dealer, and you can find the IIP for under $900. IMHO, it's
worth it to pay the extra $100 for a real HP than have to suffer under
incompatibilities of so-called compatibles.
