Tony, It's quite possible, if not already done, for Commodore to license those chips for use in an Amiga computer only. They have done that with the OS last I saw, so even if you could get the chips themselves…you'd still have an empty box with no OS to run it. And even if you did all the above (in other words, had tons of money to waste because that's what it'd be)…your product would probably die a very quick death in the courts via the 'look and feel' precedence set by the Apple lawsuits.
