Properly handled, caller id is good. It is possible, and I think mandatory, that proper safeguards be set up to protect legit callers. If someone doesn't want me to have their phone #, they should be able to block it; but I should have the choice of automatically rejecting their call. People calling hotlines, etc need protection as well. Problem in NY is that Kessel only sees one side of the issue. You don't stop something like caller-id, you properly handle it. Ron
