John, I would suggest removing your TrueType fonts from your System if you are not interested in them. Otherwise, if you have Suitcase, you could put all the TrueType fonts in their own "suitcase" and only open them when (and if) you want to. The MS Word TrueType Printer Init is for those users running System 6.0.x and printing from Word 4.0 to either the StyleWriter or LaserWriter LS. It allows for proper printing from Word to those printers. It is not necessary if you have System 7.0. Thanks, Mark Roebke Word for the Mac SL Read action !re Enter reply.
