Rich: I think taht the 'problem' lies in the fact that as the software gets more and more advanced for the Amiga, programmers are doing everything they can to stay within the 2.0 STYLE GUIDE as published by CBM. In this way, they bring much more consistency to Amiga applications… something that has been needed, IMHO, for quite some time. So, in affect, Mike (SL) is correct. It's not difficult to customize most software to your own needs these days… and by stcking to the style guide, programmers assure the highest level of compatibility with future revisions to the OS.
