Mark, The whole point of this was to automatically handle the times when one forgets that the program is already running. It would be nicer if there was a Tooltype that would let you tell ProWrite to do this for you, maybe something like "MULTICHECK=YES". One of the disadvantages of having several meg of RAM is forgetting how many programs are already loaded after the machine has been on for several hours. I have this habit of never quitting out of anything until I need the RAM back. It's handy to be able to flip screens to pull up some info when the phone rings instead of having to wait for the programs to load. I almost always use the outline fonts with causes ProWrite to take quite a bit of time to start up. Peter
