COMEAU RELEASES ENHANCED VERSIONS OF MULTI-PLATFORMED C++ Support for ANSI C++ Templates Now Available NEW YORK, NY — February 11, 1991 — Comeau Computing announced today the availability of Comeau C++ 3.0, its multiplatformed C++. Comeau C++ 3.0 provides C++ template support and other enhancements. The product will begin shipping February 17, 1992. The AmigaDOS version will begin shipping March 3, 1992. The new release includes support for ANSI C++ templates which further support the promise of OOP by enhancing the code reuse capabilities of C++.
