There's a common misperception that the Amiga Resource is losing pages each year, and it's not true. The first couple of Amiga sections were 48 pages, but they've been 32 pages ever since I took over the section. No longer, no shorter. I'd LOVE to see more pages… All it would take would be a few more ads (gosh I hate the reality of economics) per issue to make them bump it up a bit. The problem is, many of the big game publishers advertise over in the main section, which means many of the ads that AmigaWorld gets are taken by the main section of COMPUTE. Unfortunately, all magazines ('cept Consumer Reports) have to base their length on ad content, and right now that only supports 32 pages. I hope it goes up to 48 again before long… I have some neat ideas that are just awaiting pages to put them in!
