I really think you're being very unfair to Denny. Lighten up, man! It's obvious that COMPUTE does not meet your needs/desires as a publication — that's perfectly OK, since it is impossible for them (or anyone) to create a magazine that's targeted for everyone. But it is rather presumptuous of you to attack Denny this way for not providing _your vision_. If you don't like the mag, DON'T BUY IT. If enough folks agree with you, then the mag will suffer, and either choose to do something about it (i.e., change) or go under. I personally do not read COMPUTE either – primarily because it's targeted readership doesn't really hit _my_ mark. However, I don't blame them one bit. Obviously, they have enough "targets" to remain publishing (so far). No, I do not now, nor have I had in the past, any business relationship with COMPUTE magazine. I don't have a personal stake in this matter. I have, on a number of occasions, met Denny and respect him as a person and as an editor. Yes, he has given a very good review to my current game, for which I am appreciative, but I don't "owe" him anything in return for it. Your remarks just touched a nerve in me, and I felt I had to say something in rebuttal.
