Greg, it's not that I'm so loose with my money; the thing didn't cost much!
I found it in an Amiga retail store in Phoenix that was in the process of
unloading all their merchandise, as they were abandoning the Amiga. It
might have cost, oh, $75, and I couldn't turn it down, even though I had no
use for it at the time and I didn't even have enough RAM to run it then.
I AM interested in your product. If I get the contract I will definitely
use it. I don't know whether or not I will purchase it directly from you,
or if my client will be able to get it for me at a discount from the
retailer where he purchases a great deal of hardware and software.
Speaking of books on C++, which of today's offerings would be your first
choice?
Incidentally, I installed the Lattice system after leaving yesterday's
message on CIS, and found that it would not compile hello.cp! Cfront
produces a software error, and increasing the stack size to 20000 does not
help. I'm not going to worry about it, though, because after reading your
message I don't intend to use it.
Thanks.
