I never measured it, but 46% speedup sounds about right. Of course that is
just for your 1st page. If you're printing multiple pages then the savings
are multiplied incredibly, of course. ie. Say I wanted to print 10 copies
of a 4 page brochure from PageStream. That means that PgS must 'create' 40
pages; rather time consuming! But with FastJet you just create it once
(ie. 4 pages), and then FastJet it to the DJ ten times. You avoid the other
36 page creates that PgS must do, in addition to the compression advantage.
I know, I could copy it 10 times…. let's face it though: I don't have a
copier around the house, and there are times I want folks to have the
ORIGINALS, cause copies just don't look as good.
Check our CMD. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!
