I don't think the 50 hours is necessarily that bad. I did the tutorials
first and I think they took quite a while, especially with experimentation.
Did you say you had completed the tutorials?
I also use 3d studio and, even though I've had it for a year and use it
practically every day, I'm still learning new tricks. I personally work
better in 3d than in 2d (animator pro). Do you have 3d studio?
I have toyed with the idea of moving to "OZ" once my animation skills are
sufficient. I now live in southern California, USA but I'm English and have
relatives living in the Sydney area. How's the economy for that line of
work?
