It looks like the serial port is waiting for and end of line character
(CR). If it isn't recieving the character, then it waits for the buffer to
fill up. I have had trouble with the A2232 serial driver not being able to
look for that end of line character (When playing around with programing in
C). The 2.04 driver may be different.
