The store probably wasn't using a PostScript printer. The PS data files for Garamond do not contain the special characters and so on. What happens, is that CG fonts cannot be printed to PS printers. They just don't work. Times and Triumvirate are already in the printer so PgS just has to point the code to the correct font. For Garamond, we had to cheat and create a PS downloadable file. Unfortunately, the PS downloadable doesn't contain the full character set. You're not doing anything wrong, it's the fault of the PS file. It's high up on the list of things to be looked at.
