Donovan: I was looking through an old message thread from GEnie reagrding AMAX and came across the following message… thought it might help you with your AMAX/modem problem… Category 14, Topic 2Message 71 Tue Oct 09, 1990A.LUCK at 19:04 CDT Here is a trick for using USR 9600 modems with the amax program. startup your amiga modem and then when it's up and running type "AT&H3 <rtn> AT&R1<rtn> …Then exit the amiga term program and bootup amax and ge into whatever term mac program you have. I presently use Zterm with zmodem and the modem works 100%. lots better than trying cables from the serial port. Hope this helps someone else with this probelm.
