Kevin: Well, I've got this CPU board that sits in a slot on a passive backplane. The IceCap is so tall (and looks so topheavy) that it just looks like it should want to fall off the board! <g> I've had stranger things happen. I had a tape backup drive go bang one time when I installed it. It turned out that, working blind and one-handed because of the location of the drive, the polarized power supply connector plugged in backwards. (It wouldn't go in the right way, of course.) The bang was a piece (about the size of your fingernail) blowing off of the expoy case of the onboard microprocessor. In a world where polarized connectors only go in backwards, self ejecting coprocessors aren that hard to imagine… Chris
