SB Pro & CD ROM kit
Purchased Creative Labs Multimedia kit which includes a Sound Blaster Pro
board and CD ROM drive. Really like the SB Pro capabilities but am having
some strange problems with the CD ROM business.
Microsoft Bookshelf runs fine. So does Time Table of History. But
whenever I ask for the sound of a gorilla from the Natl Geographic Mammals
disk I get the sounds of a goat. Pronunciation of gorilla is GRISON.
Seems like sounds are shifted one left and pronunciation is shifted one
right. Consistent throughout the entire disk. Also Jones in the Fast Lane
does not work (will not recognize sound or audio setup).
I have tried upgrade to Creative Labs SBPCD.SYS file to Ver 1.10 and am
running their latest version of MSCDEX.EXE. Same results.
I live in Norway so telephone calls are expensive. Any ideas before I
spend my dime to call Creative Labs?
