Yes, it's a drag when technology abets laziness, mediocrity, and rudeness.
Voice mail can be a Good Thing when it's properly designed, but too often it
turns into an elaborate and frustrating maze.
There's no such thing as "Chaos lab" – "CA Lab" and "CHAOS" are two separate
packages.
I think CHAOS and Fractint are different enough to make it worth owning
both ('specially since the latter is free <g>). There certainly is some
overlap, but they take quite distinctive approaches. It's been a while
since I've worked much with either, but I recall preferring Fractint for the
Mandelbrot and related sets – seems like it was faster. CHAOS definitely
has the user interface edge, but Fractint certainly isn't hard to use. I
really like CHAOS's other modules, especially Strange Attractors and Magnets
and Pendula.
