#Tool-up time – HELP!
Well, it's finally tool-up time at the "Clark Kent" daytime job…!
My recent showing, at our annual sales conf., of stuff that I had made,
using AAPRO, was used to replace all our clunky old slide presentations and
such with animated "slides". Now that I have convinced the beancounters to
cough loose bucks for video and animation equipment for production of
training and sales videos, in house – talk about "building a niche"!
I need the big ADVICE, from any and all out here, who are using 3DSr2,
AAPRO, or both, and are recording single-frame to 3/4" tape. Rather than
throw myself on the tender mercies of the video salesmonsters, I'm hoping I
can get some good recommendations (with ball-park prices) for animation
controllers and suitable 3/4" single-frame decks, all of which must be ADI
compatible, with drivers for AAPRO's FLITAPE utility at least available. As
much detail as I can get.
BTW, most commercial video equipment sellers scratch their heads and say
"ANI-what? A-D-who?"… I think maybe that some judicious info from
AutoDesk needs to start penetrating this side of the industry.
Do please let me know what your recommendations are, on the video side.
We're partial to Sony or JVC, or Panasonic, but I'll check out any brand
that can get a good rap here.
