Scott, No, the "small holes" have nothing to do with the yoke! If you mess around there yoiu WILL have a nice repair/alignment bill. The yoke is pretty much what it sounds like, a harness on the picture tube. You must loosen the set screw, adjust the position, tighten the set screw, all while avoid electrocuting yourself (you touch the transformer, even with the monitor unplugged, you'll be getting a lot of unwanted flowers).
