Al, Sorry, I don't know. I was never certified with them and my job (a lateral transfer) didn't require it. I had to satisfy a reviewer that I knew where the proper forms were, and initial a text that contained the necessary requirements and regulations.(they had to be sure I knew how to scrawl at least two letter so they knew who to blame in event something blew up 8) I was more into the production planning end of QC than material acceptance, testing regimes, etc. stuff. Like I said, I might be mixing acronyms here. There's a few matching organizations and some standards that would fit 'em quite nicely. They do, however, all deal with Quality Control. If this is part of a job qualification, and you know the job well, ask about qualifying during any probationary period or tell them you'd accept the responsibility of becoming certified. From what I've seen, most companies will hire and assist you in gaining the necessary certification if you're otherwise qualified. Doug
