Scott, An easy way to find out would be to simply move the speakers and see if your problem goes away. However, unless your speakers have rather large magnets in them I'd doubt they are a problem if they're two feet away. TV's with speakers get away with that very simply…they're designed to work in the magentic field produced by those speakers…usualy by shielding the speaker magnets with a damping material. Don
