#Final Copy Problem
Help! 🙂
I've run into a strange problem with Final Copy (v 1.1). I have a letter
which I've been editing. It printed out fine last night, but today after a
few edits my system crashes! My equipment:
A3000/25 — 50 Mb Quantum & 70 Mb Rodime — external floppy
— 6Mb ram (2 chip, 4 fast)
HP DeskJet 500 — using the 'experimental' driver uploaded to CIS
KickStart V37.175
Workbench V37.67
Program launched from WB
Here's what happens:
I made some changes to the letter, decided it was just about done and
printed it (final). I left the room for a moment (as it was printing) and
when I come back the printer is repeatedly resetting and the monitor screen
is yellow (flashing in time with the printer resets). A bunch of the modem
lights were on also (weird!). OK, I say, the printer driver is hosed, and
I switch back to the 2.04 DJ driver. No go, same thing happens. During
this, I notice some small changes need to be made to the letter, so I make
them. Now when I print I get a GURU# 8000 0004. I was also able to print
this document in draft mode without problem (doesn't look as nice, of
course).
The letter itself is a couple of paragraphs long and includes some font
changes and paragraph margin changes.
Any ideas?
