It wouldn't, technically – nor does a quadra fare well against an AMiga
4000, technically. In fact, the 4000 is a MUCH better piece of hardware.
The thing that hurts is putting Apple the company against CBM the company,
CBM comes out looking like rank amatuers. Putting MicroSoft the company
against CBM the company, CBM comes looking out like rank amatuers.
It's not an issue of machines. It's an issue of systems, and the parent
company is important (unless it's CBM, in which case it's important the
same way Leukemia in the family is important).
