#Video Toast – PC Version

Benjamin– Actually, right now, it does not go a lot deeper than simply using your PC for remote control. You are running the Amiga/Toaster combo using a remote control panel, under Windows. Of course, if the PC were doing something else, like running editing software, and simply triggering the Toaster for effects during an A/B roll, I could see it. However, there is no editing software that I am aware of that works under Windows…and I doubt that Windows could handle these two tasks (editing and Toaster control) at the same time…it fairly chokes on any serial task. Since you can edit and Toast on one Amiga using multitasking, why not keep it on the Amiga? What advantage is there to using the PC version of the Toaster? It seems to me like driving your Ferrari…by towing it from a tow truck. There is no advantage to doing so. Jonathan
