I too am heavily invested in the PC world. But, forget the idea of using
the Toaster with your PC. Just bite the bullet and buy the Amiga 2000 bare,
add a drive and SCSI controller, a speed up kit of some kind, and the
Toaster. This is the cheapest way to go. I can see no advantage of tying my
486-33 up running communications software to control the Amiga when I can
control it with it's own mouse just fine. True it is frustrating not having
a "Toaster" for the PC. But just wait. It will happen. Your best bet today
IS the Amiga. The OS will drive a PC DOS person n nuts! But as someone else
said, it's a tool to do the job. Just because you have all XYZ brand
hammers dosen't mean you can't buy a ZZZ brand screwdriver!
