Roger, I did that before I asked the question on how to do this. What I got was FILE.FLI (The first half) FILE01.FLI (The second half) not FILE01.FLI both halfs. Are you sure that you use the next file number or next frame for the first part of your description? I think you mean frame number. Here is the way I tried to do it. After rendering half of the project (66 frames) I hit ESC and save the project then quit. Came back to 3DS loaded project picked renderer/render set range to 67 – 150 picked file and the +. Of course it started at the right place but did not combine the two. Then I look at a message that was here awhile back that said to use all as the range so I tried that but it didn't work. I have not save the project since the first session and the FILE.FLI is untouched since then. What I'm doing wrong???? If I chouse the wrong frame to continue at will that stop it from working properly or just skip/add frames that should be there? I used aaplay to double check how many frames there is, it goes back to 0 after frame 66 so 67 should be where I continue from right. In great need of some more help Andy
