Mike, I recently saw your review column in the latest Computer Graphics
World. I thought you did a great job! I also liked VERY much the picture that
was included of the various IPAS special effects in the outer space scene. I
was trying to reproduce some of it but I ran into some trouble with the spurt.
I'm trying to have my scene have laser blasts that do what your picture did..
Problem is, I'm getting a continuous stream instead of a pulsating laser
blast.. know what I mean?
If you could provide some info on how to do that it would be helpful. Is
it asking too much to get a copy of that .3DS file so I could study it in more
detail? Maybe? Hopefully? Pretty please? <g>
