While it's possible to do it, I don't think anybody makes such a drive. The
backup systems don't need the D/A converters and PCM modules that audio
requires and I don't think the audio-specific parts are included but rather
substituted with backup-specific material. Again, there's no mechanical reason
why it can't do both, but I don't think there is any perceived demand for the
product and so I know of nobody putting such a beastie out.
