#Benchmarking CD drives
Does anyone have any suggestions for benchmarking CD-ROM drives?
I review drives for magazine articles. I would like to give the readers some
idea of the comparitive performance of the drives – how long it takes to read a
certain file, for example. But I want to be sure that what I tell them is
objective and reflects "read world" use of the drives.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
