Yeah, well, in the Bay Area everybody's their brother and sister's keeper. One reason why I continue to live in the east. I can see myself giving up smoking but I can not conceive of giving up coffee. On the other hand, maybe THAT'S who all those Californians are who are flooding the coffeeholic capital of the world, Seattle. Bay Area coffee drinkers sick of being lectured to! A doctor in San Jose, of all places, once suggested that the reason why I drink copious amounts of strong coffee to attain normalcy and don't have high blood pressure is that I, in spite of bearing a resemblance to Henry VIII, inherited congenital low blood pressure. He said he discovered that people with routine low blood pressure tend to knock back coffee at a rate that would destroy or kill other people because all they are doing is artificially raising their blood pressure to an optimum rate! I bought him a cup of coffee….
