Gracia, You must also remember that paper has a natural grain and 'curl' to a sheet. If the manufacturer supplies info on which is the 'top' side of the sheet, feed it through that way. Heavy paper will also gum up the inside with of the laser with toner that won't stick to the page, and sometimes has more fibers that will come loose inside. (Avoide a heavy texture paper, the toner in the 'valley' of the texture won't be pressed correctly and will just fall off). You should clean the inside of the printer frequently. I use proper alcohol for cleaning away the toner, and then vacumm the inside (carefully) to get the paper fibers and dust out. Performance really improves. On my NEC SilentWriter LC 890, I have put a 'ton' of 80 lb cover stock through it. Made all my Wedding Invitations this way. I too have never tried the color tagging material that goes through the printer, but used LetraSets Colour Tag. This uses a little iron type device that you apply after you have printed. Once you get the hang of it it doesn't take long to do a 100 invitations…and the responce I have got back over the past couple weeks, people think they look great. Philip Laitar, Manager
