Vector AMAX driver
I am uploading the AMAX driver for the IVS Vector board which I got from the
IVS bulletin board. This first version only works with a 68030 (needs MMU) in
68030 mode. The driver has to be specified as DEVS:IVS_SCSIvector.amhd in the
Amax configuration screen.
The only glitch I saw was that I had two disks previously used with an ICD
controller designated AMAX00: (fixed) and AMAX01: (syquest). The ICD Advantage
2000 wasn't bothered by the long device names but the Vector seemed to spend a
lot of effort (slow response) in distinguishing them. I used the Vector
utilities to redesignate the fixed hard disk to AX0: and have had no problems.
