I suppose the best thing you might do in your current situation is to find
someone in your area who is working in 3DS and join together for the good of
both. Successful companies have started with much poorer motives than getting
your hands on a great animation program! <g> Check out the local SIGGRAPH
chapter, or maybe call Autodesk and talk to Tina. I'll bet she'd be willing to
help you find a couple of folks in your area. Once you've been working with
someone for a while, you will be able to afford your own copy from all the
clients you two will be reeling in <g>. Good Luck! Ken
