You are a typical dos bigot. Use CD \ to go back one dir. You would surly have a hard time with technological dos's such as amiga dos, or unix.. or cp/m or any other OS that was not exactly like PeeCissy dos. But, thats ok. Once you get use to the power of Amiga Dos, and learn to write script files you can do what ever you want with the commands. Their are many PD commands for you PC types to make the amiga more PeeCissy'ish. You might try looking through CIS's amiga user disk utilties software library.. Good luck.. As for me, I use Unix, PeeCissy dos, Amiga Dos, Mac's, and CP/M.. I am used to typing the wrong command, and I have alised most of the ADos stuff so that if I type 'ls -la' amiga dos does a list..
