Evan,
I'm actually English; I just happen to live in Germany<bg>.
Those 2 PCs are at home. I'm trying to get everything off the 286 so I can just
dedicate that for comms. I also have a problem in that both floppy drives have
decided they don't want to play any more<g>. I'm not sure whether I'll leave it
like that permanently, but it's nice being able to access either PC at home
from somewhere else<bg>
Hmm. Haven't actually tried running any CDROM applications remotely yet. In
theory it should work depending on how much free memory they need.
I run FoxPro (amongst other things) remotely on a Novell network using PC
Anywhere IV (note version 4, not 4.5 at least not yet<g>). Calls me back, does
background file transfers etc. Took a bit of tweaking because of the memory
used by the Novell drivers though.
