Jack, Thanks for reminding me about the lack of traces of early man in this hemisphere. Now I feel better about only being born here, and only being able to point to ancestors from the Mayflower. But there's probably nothing that can be done about the Berkeley City Council. My husband points out that Berkeley is, was, and likely always will be a self-proclaimed "counter culture." Thus it can't exist without a culture to respond to. Lynne
