I have been involved with CD-ROM retrieval engines since 1985 and have designed
two complete systems and analyzed nearly every system on the market.
There's a lot more issues to retrieval than just to try them out, which
incidentally you can do with the King James Bible available on public domain
CD-ROMs or on floppy (about 5 MB).
If I can be of any help, please let me know. I can help you with evaluation or
design of a new system.
