Jim, Funny you should mention wiring my house. As a matter of fact I DID wire my house. I built it, contracted it myself, and supervised the carpentry and mechanicals. The lighting is all controlled by modules that replaced light switches and receptacles. A small box is connected to the serial port of an old A1000 and is programmed by the amiga to operate the security lights. The floods come on at irregular times to prevent a set pattern, they dim, brighten, dim and shutoff each night in a random pattern. Same for certain interior lighting, but an odd light in different rooms on a random day pattern also comes on and off in a 'security' type pattern (no real pattern). Gives it that someone's in there look. Chris
