I got 3DS2.01 from my dealer with no instructions. Observations:
1.) You had better save any MLI file changes to your materials because
the update will over write!
2.) The install program isn't smart enought to know not to write
everything over even if it's only an update. Thus you lose any modifications
you made to supplied meshes, materials, cels etc. You also waste 20 minutes
pumping in disk you don't need. Is there any way to only copy the updated
files?
3.) Do you need to erase your .cfg file so 2.01a will remake it?
4.) Is it possible 2.01a can't use my .exp Video driver routine that
worked for 2.0?
5.) Does anyone know if CHROMA Gold has such a new driver and if it's on
a BBS?
6.) There seems to be 2.01a bugs described here, is there a bug list
yet?
